Green Zebra Coffee Roasters “gets” coffee and we believe that coffee is as individual as you are and should be treated as such. Our slow roasting process coupled with roasting single origins separately before combining into blends, enhances the individual attributes of the beans.
We are particularly proud of our Latino Organic blend which won Bronze at the Golden Bean Award in 2014. It rallied amongst stiff competition from other reputable roasters.

Our new look website is structured so that you can pre-purchase all your basic requirements such as coffee beans, teas, syrups, chocolate, chai, takeaway cups & lids. Our friendly sales staff are available to go through requirements for your coffee outlet such as barista equipment, coffee machines, grinders and merchandising.
Our hands-on approach allows us to adopt the method of allowing 5 days for degassing, which helps to reduce excess carbon dioxide before dispatch. This allows the natural coffee bean oils to settle, producing a healthy glossy appearance. This ensures our customers the perfect cup of coffee.
A little history of Green Zebra Coffee Roasters
Coffee roasting was originally started by our mentor Mario Chrisanthou who has been involved in the hospitality industry most of his working life. Mario started with a 1kg bench top roaster where he provided all the coffee beans for a restaurant he owned at the time. From this love of roasting, he experimented with different blends and found that customers were purchasing bags of beans to take home.
Mario started his own roasting business in 2013 called Esprosini which has now been changed to Green Zebra Coffee Roasters. The coffee roasting business is still in the family with Mario’s son Adrian and nephew Robert McCabe steering the ship. Both Adrian and Robert are accomplished chefs and view their connections with coffee and food as a total dining experience
Adrian owns and operates Green Zebra Restaurant at Parrearra, Kawana Island, which provides a venue to showcase wonderful food and coffee.
Looking to the future - Pinnacle Beverage Australia
Green Zebra Coffee Roasters has amalgamated resources with our sister company called Pinnacle Beverages Australia which produces Cold Brew and Nitro Brew coffee products. Pinnacle cold brew is dispensed into 750ml bladders for the domestic market and 3 Litre bladders for the commercial market. Cold brew coffee is great for Espresso Martinis, iced latte, iced coffee or having neat.
This blend is a combination of Ethiopian, Brazil, Indonesian and Colombian beans. With 5% Indian Robusta and the result is our version of a classic Italian cosmopolitan cup with WOW factor. With a medium plus acidity, the Espresso with Attitude is velvet crema at the pour, has a sweet maple syrup aroma and rich chocolate flavours with a long lingering...
The predominant bean in our award winning “Latino Organic” blend is the Colombian San Sebastian classic organic. The beans originate from a hilltop location in the mid eastern Highlands of Colombia. The beans have an internal Q Score of 87.25. Added to the blend is 15% Mexican SHG organic and 15% Honduras SHG government certified coffee beans.
This is a premium blend of 100% Arabica beans. With four high-altitude estate grown beans, our offering is in a league of its own. Beans are sourced from Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia and Peru with each separately roasted and blended. This provides an exotic fine balance of medium acidity, floral hints, honeycomb, malt, cocoa and delicate spice.
Appearance: Medium, tightly rolled, shiny, dark green.
Tasting Notes: The pellets slowly unfurl during brewing to produce a rich, full-bodied cup with vegetal, smoky notes and a smooth, lingering aftertaste. Story of gunpowder green.
